“I was at my facility in Bath & heard a great story that you will be interested in: Our Women's Health Coordinator at Bath / Canandaigua was on the Behavioral Health Unit (at Canandaigua), interviewing female patients & doing a chart audit. She noted several nurses’ notes documenting patient’s use of MedCalm. The staff is now offering the choice of MedCalm or a sleeping med, as appropriate (and as meds are ordered) to the patients. In most cases, the patients are using MedCalm, to help them off to sleep, instead of the med. The results are wonderful! Sleep / relaxation is being induced, at no added cost (financially to the VA or physically, to the patient), by staff offering the patient a choice! Your product is helping our Veterans to achieve a better, more restful state of relaxation / sleep, through THEIR choice and avoiding meds (and the consequences inherent there in)!!! This is TRULY Patient Focused, Patient Centered Care!!!
